This piece was completed in the tranquility of my studio with a view onto the vegetable and flower garden, which is one of my favorite places to be. I worked on this piece in the mornings while my baby took his morning nap. I love my sweet little boy, but this time for me was so full of peace, so full of ease. Hence the name. I hope it conveys that sense of calm as well as the joy and vibrancy of a new day. The embodiment of my “morning splendor.”
